Import your photos from your camera straight into Windows Live Photo Gallery, so you can start organising and editing your photos straight away.

Edit
With built-in editing tools, you can easily make good photos even better. Crop, adjust colours, fix red eye or choose ‘auto adjust’ for a one-click photo fix.

Create a panoramic photo
Stitch your photos together to create beautiful landscapes using Windows Live Photo Gallery.
Select a series of related photos from the same scene.
Click on Make and choose Create panoramic photo.
When prompted, name your new photo and click Save.

Tag your photos
Let your friends know who’s who by tagging the people in your photograph. Your contacts can also tag people.
If you’re tagging yourself, choose That’s me! Windows Live Photo Gallery has automatic face detection, meaning it will recognise when there is a face in a photo, which makes tagging easy.
View a photo in Photo Gallery and select the Info button on the menu.
Faces detected in the photograph will automatically be highlighted.
Click identify and type or select the name to tag the photo.

Publish to the Web
It’s easy to add photos to your Flickr account or Windows Live Photos page right from Photo Gallery.
Choose the photos you want to upload.
Click on Publish, then choose Online album, Group album, Event album, or Publish on Flickr.
Log in with your Windows Live ID if you haven’t already, then create an album and click Publish.

Create a Slideshow
Use Windows Live Movie Maker to create a movie slideshow, and add transitions and effects. Movie Maker makes it easy to share your slideshows the way you want them to be seen.
Select the photos you want to include in your slideshow.
Select Make, then Make a Movie.
The rest of the process is carried out in Movie Maker, get creative and add transitions and effects.

Blog your photos
Download Windows Live Writer and share your photos in your blogs with just a couple of clicks.
Select the photos you want to blog in Photo Gallery.
Click Make, and then Make a Blog Post.
Use Windows Live Writer to write your blog around your photos.

Create a Photo CD
Create a Photo CD and share your photos offline.
Select the photos or photo album that you want to burn to CD.
Click Make, and then Burn a Data CD.
Follow the steps in the wizard to create your photo CD.
