Photo Gallery allows you to edit your photos so they look just right. You can remove red-eye, straighten and crop, rotate and adjust colours, or just use the auto-adjust feature for a one-click fix.
Create a panoramic photo
Use Photo Gallery to stitch your photos together and create a panoramic photo. Just tell Photo Gallery which images you want included and it will do the rest, positioning the photos and adjusting colours to create a seamless panoramic photo.
Import in an instant
Photo Gallery allows you to easily import your photos directly from your camera. As soon as you plug in your camera or memory card, Photo Gallery will save you time by organising your photos by date and split them into separate folders.
Easily share your photos
You can easily share your photos online with Photo Gallery by uploading them straight to Windows Live Photo, sharing with a Windows Live Group, or publishing to an Events page. Photo Gallery also supports publishing directly to Flickr and you can download plugins to publish directly to Facebook or other photo sharing sites. If you prefer you can create a photo CD, make a movie slideshow or email your photos.
Tag your friends
Windows Live Photo Gallery automatically detects a face in a picture, meaning you can easily tag all your friends. After tagging and uploading your photos to Windows Live, your photos will appear in your friends “What’s New” feeds so that they can instantly see your new album.

Photo Gallery works with Windows Live Mail to make sending photos easier. Simply select photos in Photo Gallery, click on "e-mail" and Mail will create a photo optimised mail with thumbnails and more.
